Privacy Notice
Privacy for ClassMeet
This notice explains the core categories of account, meeting, billing, payment, and audit data that ClassMeet processes to operate the product.
Information we process
ClassMeet processes account details such as name, email address, role, subscription state, and related billing identifiers required to operate the service.
When you create or join meetings, we also process meeting metadata, participant presence, recordings, and audit activity necessary to run workspace and admin flows.
Payments and subscription data
Self-serve Basic and Pro purchases are processed through Paddle. We store limited billing metadata such as subscription state, transaction identifiers, billing periods, and payment amounts needed to keep account access in sync.
Payment card details are collected and handled by Paddle in its checkout flow. ClassMeet does not store full payment card numbers in the product database.
Paddle may process buyer, tax, billing, and payment information as merchant of record for self-serve purchases.
Why we process it
We use this information to authenticate users, create and manage meeting rooms, provide billing and subscription controls, and maintain audit visibility for operators.
We also retain limited logs and operational metadata to diagnose service issues, respond to support requests, and protect the service from misuse.
Retention and disclosure
Data is retained for as long as needed to deliver the product, maintain records of account activity, and satisfy reasonable security and operational requirements.
We do not publish customer data publicly, and we limit disclosure to service providers or legal obligations required to operate the platform.
