Creating and scheduling classes

Return to the previous screen

Use the arrow link in the top-bar path or Cancel below to return to the dashboard or list where you opened creation — unsaved input is discarded, and Back and Cancel are disabled while the class is being created

Prepare a class now

1. Select Create class on the dashboard
2. Confirm Start now is selected directly above Class name, then enter the title, settings, and invitations
3. Select Camera preview, Microphone test, or Speaker test if needed — the preview is only visible to you
4. Device status shows Ready in blue, Needs attention in red, and Off or Not checked in gray — after testing the speaker, select I can hear it or I cannot hear it
5. Select Create class at the bottom to create the room and open the prejoin screen
6. Your device on/off choices carry over to prejoin — check your name and select Join

Schedule a date and time

1. Open Create class on the dashboard, then choose Schedule class directly above Class name
2. Enter a title and select a future start date and time in Class schedule
3. If the date is missing or in the past, correct it using the message below the schedule field
4. Select the Room settings and Invite sections below Class name to expand the options you need
5. Select Schedule class to open the new class details

Adjust the settings you need

• If there are no saved groups or verified members to invite, each list shows one short message — add groups and members through Groups
• Capacity: choose a value within the host account's plan limit
• Waiting room: turn on the switch on the right to require the host's approval before participants enter
• Automatic recording: use the switch on the right when the host's plan includes recording
• Configure auto-record under Recording and processing — recording, transcription, and AI summaries require Basic or higher; manual summaries and waiting rooms are available on Free
• Select locked auto-record, Share recordings, or Share transcripts to open the Plans popup — compare Free, Basic, and Pro with your current plan, select the paid plan you need, accept the terms, then continue to checkout — canceling checkout preserves your class draft
• Closing the picker or canceling checkout preserves your class draft — after the paid subscription is confirmed, turn on the features you need
• If checkout is not configured, you can still compare plans — use Manage subscription to resolve an existing subscription issue
• Set Share recordings, Share transcripts, and Share summary and action items individually — off keeps results private; on shares results once created with signed-in attendees — sharing does not start recording, transcription, or AI processing
