Dashboard and class schedule
Understand which hosted, invited, and attended classes appear
Dashboard layout
On desktop, the title sits on the left, with the class link/code field, Join, and Create class grouped on the right — join with a link or code, or create a class to prepare now or schedule for later — tablet shows the join form beside Create class, while mobile puts the join form below Create class — on mobile, both scheduled-class Join and record Details buttons span the full width below each item's information
- The house icon at the top right opens the service homepage; the ClassMeet logo on the desktop sidebar returns to your dashboard
- On desktop, the left navigation stays fixed while Dashboard, Meetings, Groups, Class records, and Shared materials use the remaining screen width
- On desktop, Class schedule and Class records sit side by side at equal widths; on tablet and mobile they stack — the schedule count reflects available entries, while Latest counts only the records shown in the card
- Class schedule uses uniformly styled rows with status badges beside Hosting or Invited below the title — open each dashboard class record with its single Details button
- Primary actions such as Join and Save use blue rectangular buttons; secondary actions such as Details, Copy, and Cancel use gray buttons — delete actions use red
- Class status, class records, and Settings tabs mark the selection with blue text and an underline, while other tabs use muted gray text — class-status tabs scroll horizontally on narrow screens
- Status badges include both color and text — active or completed states use green, scheduled or pending states use yellow, failed or denied states use red, and ended or expired states use gray; account plan badges use gray for Free, blue for Basic, and purple for Pro
- On desktop and tablet, the copy icon to the left of the blue Join button copies the class code — on mobile, a small copy icon sits at the top right beside the class title, with a full-width Join button below the date and status — a checkmark confirms success; share the code or paste it into the dashboard join field
- Inside a class record, switch between four tabs: Recordings, Transcript, Summary, and Details
- An empty schedule shows No scheduled classes, and empty records show No class records — other empty lists also use one short message
Manage classes you created
- Open Meetings in the sidebar or bottom navigation to manage classes you created — find invited or attended classes on the dashboard
- Filter by All, Active, Not started, or Ended — Not started includes rooms without a scheduled time — enter a class name or code and select Search or press Enter to search within that status
- To see all your classes again, clear the search field, select Search, and select All in the status filter
- Select a class name to open its details — Join opens prejoin to check your name, camera, and microphone, while Records opens materials for ended classes
- Manage shows the class status, schedule, attendance, materials, and a copyable join link — use Details or Join at the bottom right; ended classes show only Details — Delete is separate at the bottom left and requires confirmation; active classes must end before deletion
- Close the Manage class dialog with the top-right X button or the Esc key
- If copying fails, manually copy the selected link from the field
- Open Search records at the top to load the Class list and its count immediately — enter a search term to narrow results by title, attendee, recording filename, or transcript content
- Review class status, material status, and dates in the results, then open records with Details on the right — use Previous and Next below the list when results span multiple pages
Class details
- Use the arrow link in the top-bar path to return — class-name and status filters and archive search terms and page are retained, with the previous list position restored in the same browser tab
- Find the class name and Join at the top — hosts can copy the URL in Join link; ended classes omit entry actions and the join-link field
- For every class status, the top Class information card shows status, dates, attendance, and sharing — ended classes show Recordings, Transcript, Summary, and Details tabs below
- Class settings and Invites & calendar open separate dialogs from the right of Class information — changes take effect after saving; close with the top-right X or Esc
- Class settings groups name, capacity and schedule, class controls, and materials shared with participants — save at the bottom right; the dialog cannot be closed while saving
- Attendance and Polls & waiting room stay expanded, inside Details for ended classes — settings and deletion are owner-only, while invitations, polls, and waiting-room records are available to hosts and admins
- The host's join-session count includes repeat entries
- Before a class ends, review Summary & action items; after it ends, use the Summary tab — materials follow sharing permissions
- Delete class at the bottom of Class settings requires a separate confirmation — an active class must end before deletion
Classes shown in your schedule
| Label | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Hosted | Classes created with your current account |
| Invited | Classes with an invitation matching your account email |
| Attended | Classes you joined while signed in to your current account |
Which classes appear first
Initially, up to four classes are shown — without a live class, a reservation due today comes first, followed by the nearest future reservation — use More classes to expand additional entries
Schedule status and joining
- All dashboard schedule buttons say Join — selecting one opens prejoin to check your name and devices
- Before the start time, the badge shows Scheduled — you can open prejoin beforehand, while participants can enter the class after its scheduled start
- A class scheduled earlier today that has not started is marked Awaiting start
- An ongoing class shows a Live badge — capacity and waiting-room approval are checked on entry
- Schedules use your device's time zone and refresh periodically while the dashboard is visible
Class records and shared materials
The dashboard shows up to four ended classes you hosted or joined while signed in, ordered by the latest end time — select the View all button to browse older records in pages of 20
- Select Details on the dashboard to review Recordings, Transcript, Summary, and Details in one place — playback availability, processing, and expiration appear in each material tab
- In the full records list, Processing or Review status opens the transcript state — from the dashboard, open Details and select Transcript
- Filter records by All, Hosted, or Attended and search by class name — search covers all records, not just the current page
- Open details or materials through the class name or row action — the Class records return control preserves your search and page
- Review ended-class materials in Recordings, Transcript, and Summary — Details gathers class information, settings and invitation controls, and attendance
- Ended classes do not show a Join button on their detail screen
- Classes you were invited to but never attended are excluded from Class records
- A class record does not guarantee recordings, transcripts, or a summary; participants can open only the materials shared by the host
- Shared materials in the sidebar is a separate view for materials from classes you attended
If an invited class is missing
- Check that the invitation email matches the account you are signed in to
- Classes joined as a guest are not linked to your current account history
- You can still open a shared class link even if the class is not on the dashboard
